Tommy Lynn Jackson, age 61, of the Antioch Community, passed away from a short battle with cancer. He was surrounded by his loving family when he went to Jesus on November 22, 2025.
Tommy had many interests that made him special. He was an avid deer hunter, having belonged to several local hunting clubs where many friends and memories were made. Tommy rode many back roads where his girls learned about deer hunting, life lessons, and squalling tires on dirt roads. Nascar was a passion of his especially when Earnhart and JR (#3 and #8) were racing. Wrestling and the WWE were his every Sunday and Monday night TV shows where his commentary livened up all the shows. The girls knew all the wrestling moves, especially a headlock, as that was his favorite loving move on them.
Tommy was a music fan, liking all types from southern rock to old gospel. His favorite thing with his music was rewriting lyrics which would send his kids and grandkids into hysterical laughter.
Since cancer left him housebound, his girls and mom watched many episodes of Family Feud and endless State of Arkansas car chases.
Tommy worked at Chem Fab in Hot Springs for 25 years and later at Falk Plumbing Supply for 15 years. He was of the Assembly of God faith and was a member of the Malvern High School class of 1982.
Tommy was preceded in death by his daughter, Samantha Shay Jackson; his dad, Henry Jackson; his brother, Chris Jackson; paternal grandparents, Curtis and Pearl Hall Jackson; maternal grandparents, Roy and Roberta Siratt Hodges; father-in-law, Buryl Attaway and brother-in-law, Doug Lawrence.
He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Robin Attaway Jackson; his girls, Shawna Jackson Whitehead (Aaron), Ashlee Ritch Wolfe (Harley), and Nila Ritch Shockley (Shelby); his mother, Mary Sue Hodges Jackson; sister, Lisa Jackson Lawrence; sister-in-law, Melanie Jackson; and his mother-in-law, Guyanna Attaway. He was so proud of his grandchildren, Emma and Eva Toska, Joshua and Matthew Whitehead, Ella, Laney, Sypress, and Memphis Shockley. He also leaves behind his grand pups Ty and Pickles as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
