Kelli Michaels Obituary
She was born March 25, 1955, in Rutland, VT and was a Manchester resident for all of her childhood. She graduated from Burr & Burton Academy in 1973.
Ms. Michaels graduated from Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, NY with a BA degree in 1977. She was a member of the Tri-Delta sorority.
She started her career in fashion and design in New York City where she worked for many major retailers and advertisers, including the legendary Henri Bendel. In addition, she was a model with the Ford Agency in the 1980's. She then moved to Connecticut where she was art director for Bedford Fair women's wear.
Later, she moved back to Manchester, VT where she continued her design practice and created Nana Kay's Bakery, named after her maternal grandmother.
She is survived by her three first cousins and their children. Burial will be in Dellwood Cemetery, Manchester, VT.

We loved growing up in the Village with Cliff and Beanie being such terrific grandparents to Kelli and us all. Kelli was funny and really creative and talented. We were lucky to have her in our crew!!

I will always remember Kelli with love and fondness. She was one of my closest childhood friends. I spent numerous days with Kelli and family in Manchester and Lake St. Catherine. She will always hold a special place in my heart.
