Barbara Ann Doering, age 95, of Manistee, MI, died peacefully at her home in the final hour of Sunday, March 2, 2025. She was born February 4, 1930, in Manistee, and was the daughter of the late Michael L. and Mary Elizabeth (Chycinski) Wojciechowski. Barbara married Robert H. Doering on February 4, 1950. He preceded her in death on April 22, 1998.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, March 8, 2025, at Divine Mercy Parish (St. Joseph Catholic Church) in Manistee with Rev. James Bearss celebrant. The family will be at the church one hour prior to Barbara's Funeral Mass to receive friends.
More information regarding Barbara will be published in Wednesday's edition of the Manistee News Advocate. The Herbert Funeral Home of Manistee is in charge of arrangements.

My family and I are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Barbara Doering. Through all our growing up years she was our neighbor in our beautiful Kott road neighborhood. Barbara was a loving neighbor throughout our lives. She loved everyone, kept track of them, and wished them well. She loved her God, her family, her world, and everyone in it. I will miss sending her Christmas cards and greetings. She was a very kind, loving person who did a lot for other people. She showed us all how to live a long, good life.
We want to send our love and deepest sympathy to the Doering family. You are all in our prayers. We will pray for your family. You can be sure she is in a much better place, where she waits for all of you.
