"Dani" Danielle (Tomaszewski) Banicki, age 65, of Manistee died Friday, August 2, 2024 at her home surrounded by her family.
She was born on August 18, 1958 in Manistee, Michigan and was the daughter of the late Frank "Bud" and Lorraine "Lori" (Schulski) Tomaszewski. Dani married Robert "Bob" Banicki on February 8, 1975 at St. Mary of Mount Carmel Shrine Catholic Church in Manistee, Michigan. During her working career, Dani had been department supervisor at the K-mart Store in Manistee, bookkeeper and secretary at Gentz Forrest Products, and presently is the count team supervisor at the Little River Casino and Resort. She is also the co-owner along with her husband Bob, of Banicki Sandblasting.
She is survived by her husband, Robert "Bob" Banicki of Manistee, MI, her sons and daughters in-law, Rob and Wendy Banicki of East Lake, MI, and Chris and Heather Banicki of Filer City, MI, her granddaughter, Joey Banicki, her grandsons, Braden Banicki, Morgan Banicki, Chase Banicki and Tyler Guzikowski, her great-grandchildren, Aria Kolberg and Cadence Kolberg, her sisters and brothers in-law, Juanita and Tom Guenthardt and Rena and David O'Brien and her brothers and sisters in-law, Steve & Tracey Tomaszewski, Michael and Tammy Tomaszewski and Paul Tomaszewski and Shelia all of Manistee, MI, her brothers in-law and sister in-law, Ray and Sherri Banicki and James Banicki all of Manistee, MI. Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins also survive her.
Dani was preceded in death by her grandson Mat Kolberg, her parents, Frank "Bud" and Lorraine "Lori" (Schulski) Tomaszewski, her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Ray and Marie (Jorgensen) Banicki and by her brother Rick Tomaszewski.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, August 14, 2024 at 4:00 p.m. at the Herbert Funeral Home in Manistee, with Reverend Liz Hoy officiating.
The family will receive friends at the Herbert Funeral home on Wednesday afternoon from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
The Herbert Funeral Home of Manistee is in charge of funeral arrangements.

Dani you are so missed by us all, I miss are talks in the mornings before I started my day you always made me laugh. Dani had one of the biggest hearts and would do anything for anyone.
