Martin Vasquez, 63, a resident of Port Charlotte, FL, spent his early years in Manistee & attended Onekama High School. He was the owner of M&A Builders in Manistee and La Casa Mexican Restaurant. In Florida, he was an HVAC worker and enjoyed bowling, boating, fishing & LOVED his dog! He is survived by his daughter, Natasha Heart, Grand Rapids; his ex-wife, Laura and her daughters, Allie & Sara, FL; Family in Manistee: Cruz Vasquez, Raul Vasquez, Ruben (Juanita) Vasquez, Rebecca (Alan) Mattison, Robert (Peggy) Vasquez, and brother, Marcos (Robin) Vasquez, LO. He has many nieces & nephews. Martin is preceded in death by his parents, Simon and Irene Vasquez; his sister & husband, Estafana & James Edgington; two sisters-in-law, Mary Jane Vasquez & Jean Vasquez; and nephew, Roger Vasquez.
A Celebration of Life & Memorial will be at the Manistee Township Hall in Parkdale on November 23rd. Food will be served from 1-5pm. At 3pm, we will begin the Memorial.
