Christopher Bradshaw Obituary
MANSFIELD, OH: Christopher Bradshaw, 46, of Mansfield, died Friday September 23, 2011 at the Ohio State University Medical Center. Born June 21, 1965, the first day of summer in Mansfield, he was the son of Larry and Rosalee (Boggs) Bradshaw. Christopher graduated from Mansfield Senior High in 1983 and attended Hilliard United Methodist. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing, always catching the most fish or shooting the biggest deer. With a great sense of humor, Christopher was his own person with a big heart knowing no stranger. He was very strong willed and never gave up on anything. May he rest in peace.
He is survived by his beloved children who were the light of his life, Brittney, Morgan, and Hunter Bradshaw of Hilliard; parents, Larry and Rosalee Bradshaw of Bellville; brothers, Jeffery (Kathy) of Dublin, Shannon (Hope) Bradshaw of Mansfield, and Commander Matthew (Celeste) Bradshaw of San Diego, CA; sisters, Sheila Bradshaw (Martin Huffman), Brenda (Sonnie) Hermann of Lexington, and Alice Bradshaw of Lexington; nieces and nephews, Dylan, Dane, Tiffiney, Timberly, Jarred, Alec, Joshua, Blake, Race, Gunner, and Dax; special great nephew, Douglas; mother of his children, Kristin Fausnaugh; his dogs, Lea, Honey, Festus, and Little Bit; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, James and Madgeline Bradshaw and William and Edna Boggs. He is now born into a new body and his soul is free to hunt and fish in heaven. A special thanks to MedCentral, Altercare of Hilliard, and OSU Ross Heart Hospital.
Friends may call Monday, September 26, 2011 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at the Diamond St. Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 S. Diamond St., Mansfield. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 27, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home conducted by Brother Don Stallard. Burial will follow in Mansfield Cemetery.

My condolences to the Bradshaw family. Chris was my best friend back in the early 70's when we lived on Spare Lane in Mansfield. We had so much fun together riding Big Wheels and exploring nature on a daily basis...Chris loved the outdoors then and taught me a lot, and we were so young then. I am so sad that he has passed...he was a great person!!

My husband, Michael Vance, is on the road and I just seen this and called to tell him. He apologizes that he didn't know until just now, but he's been working nonstop which puts him out of touch in a way. He will post something to the family when he gets home tomorrow. Our prayers go out to the family we know and also supported us for a moment of time. I know your closeness and love for one another and can only imagine the pain at this time.
Chris was just the best! He would get down at times, however he had a way of lightning up the world around him and finding a way to laugh at whatever perdicament you may have just found yourself in and making everyone else feel a whole lot better about it. I can honestly say, he was a blessing while here and will be GREATLY missed.

To the Bradshaw family...Please know that we are thinking of you in this time of sorrow. Wanda and I were there with Larry, Rosalee & Christopher the 1st of Sept. I talked to him about the Lord and he nodded and could say "Jesus" & "God". He knew what I was saying though he could not answer clearly. Take comfort in knowing that he is with the Lord now.
