Helen Masters Obituary
MANSFIELD: Helen Patricia Kowalski Masters, 81, of Mansfield passed away May 26, 2012 at MedCentral Health System.
Helen was born May 22, 1931 in Mansfield to Walter and Anna Triumpka Kowalski. She received her Bachelor's of Science degree in Nursing from St. Mary's of the Springs and her Masters in Middle Childhood Education from the Ohio State University. Helen was a nurse for 15 years and then taught in the Columbus public school system for 19 years. She was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church, Ka-cetts, Ohio Education Society and Ohio Dominican Alumni Association.
Survivors include her husband Harold "Bud" Masters, married at St. Peter's Church on October 24, 1953 of Mansfield; son Walter (Debra) Masters of Utica, grandsons Nathaniel and Emmett Masters; brother James (Janice) Kowalski of Hamilton; sisters-in-law Magdalena Kleshinski, Mary Kleshinski, Catherine Kleshinski, Hiltrude Kleshinski, Shirlene Kowalski.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by brothers Sylvester Kleshinski, Joseph Kleshinski, Leon Kleshinski, Richard Kleshinski, Walter Kowalski; sisters Mary (Robert) Au, Rita (Charles) Sageskey.
Friends may call at Herlihy-Chambers Funeral Home, 173 Park Avenue West, on Friday from 5 - 8pm with a vigil service at 5pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 am Saturday at St. Peter's Catholic Church with Rev. Gregory Hite officiating. Burial will follow in Mansfield Catholic Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Knights of Columbus Council #687.

So sorry to hear about Helens' passing. She was a real fighter and one good lady. I know she is at peace and in the arms of our saviour. Rest in peace my friend,,,, and may God give comfort to her family at this time.

Dear Bud, so sorry to hear about Helen 's passing. She was a wonderful lady and great fun to be around. I know she has suffered for many years but, she was not a complainer.
