Hubert Peters
MANSFIELD: Hubert Peters, 81, of Mansfield, Ohio died Monday, July 4, 2011 at his home. He was born April 8, 1930 in Stanton, Tennessee, and lived in Mansfield, Ohio over 60 years. He retired from Ohio Brass Co. after 44 years of service. He enjoyed life to the fullest.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Peters; two sons, Hubert Peters Jr. (Michelle), Rashad Eatmon; special friend, Jennifer Riley of Mansfield, Ohio; three sisters, Willie Jo Colbin of Anderson, IN, Lois Fuqua of Mansfield, Ohio, and Mildred A. Shaw of Brownsville, Tennessee; six grandchildren; brothers-in-law, Lofton Fuqua, Thomas (Patricia) Cheeks of Mansfield, Ohio, Sam Eatmon of Millport, AL; sisters-in-law, Cindy (Ralph) Mack, and Patricia (Milton) Reed; very special cousin, Kermit T. Cauldwell; special friends, Edison Williams, Willie Feagin Jr., Donald Adley, and Leon France all of Mansfield, Ohio; and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Louis and Lee Peters; two sisters, Anna Lou Stockette, and Thelma Johnson; and former wife of 60 years, Nancy Peters.
Calling hours will be held July 9, 2011 at 10 a.m. followed by funeral services at 11 a.m. at Community Temple (COGIC), 338 Harker St. with Elder Henry Bradley officiating. Interment will be at Mansfield Cemetery,
Services entrusted to Tate Funeral Services.
