James Fendrick Obituary
GALION: James C. Fendrick, 88, of Galion passed away Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at Signature Healthcare of Galion.
He was born May 12, 1927 in Ashland and was the son of the late Carl Royal and Mary Alice (Barnes) Fendrick. He is survived by his wife of 66 years Ann E. (Deaton) Fendrick who he married on July 2, 1949.
Jim is survived by children James C. (Milada) Fendrick of Commerce Township, Michigan, Rebecca A. (Steve) Price of Tiffin and Mary Beth Fendrick of Ft. Mitchell, Kentucky; five grandchildren Jennifer (Ben) Robinson of Chicago, Sarah (Jay) Boyd of Elmhurst, Illinois, Allison Fendrick of Bali, Indonesia, Rob (Laura) Price of Galena and David Price of Delaware, Ohio; five great-grandchildren Avery Price, Quintin Price, Sam Robinson, Gracyn Boyd and Connor Boyd; two brothers Carl (Marjorie) Fendrick of Houston, Texas and Jack (Maureen) Fendrick of Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
Jim graduated from Galion High School in 1947 and proudly served his country in the United States Navy during World War II. He owned and operated the Marion Automatic Music for many years.
Jim was an active member of Christ United Methodist Church in Galion. He was an usher, a church trustee, on administrative board and had been in charge of the youth fellowship group.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 16, 2016 at Christ United Methodist Church, 130 East Walnut Street Galion, Ohio 44833 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Jerry Penrod Jr. officiating. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the memorial service on Saturday starting at 10 a.m.
Memorial contributions may be made to Christ United Methodist Church in care of the funeral home.

Jim always reminded me of my Dad Dick Fendrick and I enjoyed visiting with both Jim and Jr when they came to Glenmont. It is sad how families grow a part as time goes on but having been born a Fendrick I have memories of going to Galion with my grandparents to visit Jim's parents. You were blessed with his long life.

Jim, I am so sorry for your family's loss. It meant a great deal to me that your dad was there for my parents near the end of their lives. Can't forget the 45's your dad gave us as kids from his jukeboxes. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
