Michele M. Imhoff

Michele M. Imhoff, age 69 years, passed away in the early morning hours on Wednesday, April 28, 2021, at Christ Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. She was born in Mansfield, Ohio on May 2, 1951 to John Sr. and Virginia (Marion) Imhoff. Michele was a 1969 graduate of Mansfield Senior High School and received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Journalism from Boston University. After graduation, she worked at The Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine at Case Western University in Cleveland, Ohio. From there she moved to Cincinnati where she worked at Cincinnati State as the Associate Vice President of Marketing and Communications. After 33 years of dedicated service, she retired in 2010.

Michele was known for her love of Shar Pei dogs where she regularly walked them through the streets of Hyde Park. Over the years, she enjoyed the companionship of seven Shar Peis. She was always eager to travel to foreign destinations including Europe and the Caribbean. She chaperoned the senior trips of her nephew to the Bahamas and her niece to Jamaica. She was always known as "fun" Aunt Michele. She was an impeccable dresser who had an extensive shoe and purse collection. She was a highly valued customer of Crowe's Shoes in Mansfield. Michele was always the life of the party and lived her life to the fullest. She was loved for her strongmindedness, kindness and thoughtfulness. She will be greatly missed by everyone whose lives she touched, and will always be in our hearts.

She is preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her brother, John, Jr. (Dr. Catherine Mortiere) Imhoff, her nephew, Aaron Imhoff, and her nieces Hayley Imhoff and Mia Mortiere-Imhoff. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 5, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Mansfield. The service will be followed by a luncheon at Wappner's Life Celebration Reception Center, 129 South Main Street. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions should be made to the Humane Society for Hamilton County.

I am saddened by the loss of Michele. I have fond memories of parties at the Imhoff house, and of her endless contributions to that fun. My condolences to the entire family.

So very sorry to read of Michele's passing. Haven't seen either of you in forever. We all went our separate ways. May she Rest In eternal Peace.
