Steven Cool

Weston: Steven Alan Cool, 43, of 11th St. Weston passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, June 25, 2017 at his residence. His tragic passing has left a void in the hearts and minds of family and friends who loved him so deeply.

He was born in Weston on January 7, 1974 a son of the late James Arland Cool and Charlotte Ann Davis Cool.

On March 9, 2013 he married Raquel Lynne Rogers who will miss him dearly after four years of marriage.

His funny, charismatic spirit will be carried on by his two children: Misty Michelle Cool and fiance', Gregory Bowen, of Saint Leonard, MD, and Kelsey Ann Cool of Mansfield, OH; two step children: Destiny and Allen Radcliff; two grandchildren: Bentley Michael Bowen and Noah James; ten siblings: V. Jane Warren and husband, Richard, of Orange Park, FL, Jean Simoni and husband, Joseph of Davie, FL, James H. Cool and wife, Francis, of Manassas, VA, John D. Cool and wife, Roberta, of Ellsworth, PA, Joseph L. Cool and wife, Mary, of Ruso, ND, Jeffery Cool of Davie, FL, Jay A. Cool and wife, Wendy, of Phoenix, AZ, Kevin Cool of Weston, Larry W. Cool and wife, Sheila of Weston, and Gary Cool and companion Cathy Turner, of Alum Bridge; numerous nieces and nephews; and his beloved Siamese cat, Phoebe.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one nephew, Michael B. Cool.

Steve graduated from Lewis County High School with the class of 1993, and traveled 48 states as a furniture mover. He focused his efforts in pursuing a career in construction, quickly learning many contracting skills including carpentry and roofing. He remodeled his house for his wife, and was working for several clients in the area. In his free time, he taught himself to play the guitar and he loved jamming with the kids, as he was just a big kid at heart himself.

Friends and family will gather at the Pat Boyle Funeral Home and Cremation Service at 144 Hackers Creek Rd. in Jane Lew from 4-6 p.m. on Friday, June 30, 2017. A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 6 p.m. from the Pat Boyle Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Wease Day officiating. In lieu of flowers donations may be made at the funeral home to assist the family with final expenses.
