Carol Evelyn (Keyes) Johnson Carol Evelyn (Keyes) Johnson, born in Alhambra, CA in 1920, grew up happy being raised from age four by her dear maiden aunt. As a young adult, she was a stenographer for the FBI in Los Angeles. After two dates and years of letter writing, she married Milt Johnson in 1945, when he returned from WWII, and they met the gold standard for marriages. In 2003 Carol moved to Spring Lake Village in Santa Rosa, leaving her bucolic Woodacre home, where she and Milt raised their two boys with Samoyeds. She died at the age of 100 on September 11, 2021. She is survived by her son Wayne Johnson and grandson Alexander Johnson. Her son Brian and husband predeceased her. No services will be held. She will be interred with Milt at the Presidio.
