Cynthia Bubbo Obituary

Cynthia Ann Bubbo Born September 4, 1949, passed away peacefully at home on November 25, 2017, with loved ones by her side, at the age of 68 after a seven year battle with cancer. She was born in Buffalo, NY, daughter to the late Steven and Victoria Dejewski and was one of four siblings. A long-term resident of Marin, having lived in Bel Marin Keys, Novato, and Tiburon, Cynthia first arrived to California in 1970 with her husband Mario Bubbo, married in San Francisco on August 17, 1972. She very much loved the nature and beauty of California, sharing the experiences of life with those around her; including living for many years on the coast at The Sea Ranch, CA. She loved scenic drives on the coastline, enjoyed the family home in wine country, and cherished exploring beaches and parks throughout Northern California. Cynthia worked for many years in jewelry sales and retail sales, as well as in family businesses, all of which she excelled at. She also took great pride as a homemaker; maintaining a beautiful home and being a devoted and proud mother of her two sons, Michael and Paul. Predeceased by her parents and two brothers, Jay Dejewski and Paul Dejewksi, she is survived by her husband Mario of 45 years, their two sons, Michael and Paul, as well as her sister, Deborah Bald. Those who had the opportunity to have known Cindy will always treasure the time shared with her, throughout her beautiful life, and are blessed to have experienced those moments together. A private gathering will be held as a final farewell at The Sea Ranch, CA. The family is receiving messages and sharing memories with those who knew Cindy at a special dedication website at http://cindybubbo.com

So sorry for your loss. May the God of all comfort take hold of your right hand and fortify you and help you at this time of great sorrow. Isa. 41:10,13

Cindy and I met when both of us were in the hospital giving birth to our children, Paul and Valerie. (one day apart) A friendship developed and for many years our kids played with each other. Cindy took a special interest in Valerie. Valerie was the little girl she never had. Cindy was alway kind and giving. She will be missed. My heart goes out to her family. It is never easy for the ones left behind.

I first met Cindy with Mario back in the early 70's in Buffalo, N.Y. Josie & I spent many evenings playing cards and drinking California Jug wine. We had a great time, young and full of life we planned on moving to California and opening Vikings Giant Submarines. I have great memories of a wonderful woman, Cindy, always cheerful & kind. I miss her and knowing that she's now in a better place where we'll meet again, gives me some comfort. Love you Cindy and always will. Ciao! for now...Eddie
