Dale Ross Eubanks

1934 - 2021

Dale Ross Eubanks April 16, 1934 - Jan. 6, 2021 Longtime Larkspur resident, florist, and volunteer fireman, Dale Ross Eubanks passed away on January 6, 2021 at the age of 86 years old. Dale was born in Santa Rosa in 1934 and his family moved to Larkspur when he was seven years old. He attended Larkspur Corte Madera grammar school, Tamalpais High School, and graduated in the first graduating class at Sir Francis Drake High School in 1952. He played the saxophone in the marching band and competed on the swim team throughout high school. Dale was part of the family business, Katherine Eubanks Florist in Larkspur. When Katherine retired, Dale took over the shop. Two to three times a week Dale would drive to the flower market in San Francisco. He enjoyed visiting with the flower growers and wholesalers and he was active in many floral organizations. Dale was a member of Larkspur Lions Club and a member of the Larkspur Volunteer Fire Department. He enjoyed his participation in many Fourth of July parades with the Larkspur Volunteer Fire Department Model T. For many years Dale was a proud team sponsor of the Larkspur Corte Madera little league. He enjoyed skiing both on snow and in the water, and was an enthusiastic 49ers fan, a season ticket holder for 35 years. The 49ers lost a loyal fan. Dale is survived by Lynn Eubanks, his wife of 60 years; and daughters, Katie (Mark) Pierce and Kristine (Dave) Arms.
