I am so sorry to hear about Dave. I have not seen him for many years, but remember him well. I was a rookie in Patrol in 1971, and spent many a fine hour listing to his wisdom on just about everything.
Far too many of us from the "60's and 70's" are passing. I grew on the wisdom that Dave,Gunney,Jim Ridell even Sgt Mooney. God Bless them and Everyone I have known in the MCSO.

My prayers go out for the Estes family. Sgt. Estes was an excellent member of the Sheriffs Office. He loved God, his family, his fellow humans. A fine man. May God continue to bless his family. Ret Judge Gary W. Thomas
