Joshua Goldberg

Joshua Goldberg April 7, 1982 – Feb. 24, 2006 Joshua recently moved to Thamkrabok Monastery in Thailand where he was ordained as a Buddhist Monk and Priest. His ordained name is Pra Tatsawuttoe, (Tat Sa Wut Toe) meaning – Teacher. He loved the Thai culture and felt very much at home in Thailand and at the Monastery. While in Thailand, Joshua was admitted to the hospital with an infection in his leg. He was about to be released when he died suddenly and peacefully in his sleep. He is now at rest at the Monastery enshrined in a place of high honor overlooking the Monastery which meant so much to him. Josh will be deeply missed by all whom he touched in his short but important life. He is survived by his mother, Linda of Novato, his father, Jim, of New York, his brother, Brian of Santa Rosa and his sister, Dana, of Texas. A Service and Chanting in Joshua's honor will be held at the Kadampa Buddhist Temple of San Francisco on Sunday, March 19th at 5:00 p.m. Transportation will be provided for those who would like to attend -- for information please e-mail lgoldberg@fitax.com or jimgoldberg@optonline.net
