Linda and Matt, Josh was such a warm and happy soul. I was happy to know that he found a certain amount of peace in the months and years before he left us. You know he made us work pretty hard during his years at North Bay, but his wit and humor made it more than worthwhile. Julie Langston and I are both sorry that we will not get to see him again. We wish you strength and joy in your memories of Josh.

To Josh's parents, I hadn't followed up on Josh since we spent a year together at North Bay Academy and was touched to hear that he fostered his spirituality. It sounds like something I would have very much liked to talk to him about.
I would like for you to know that Josh touched every person around him. In the one year I knew him, he made a profound impression on me and I think of him often. That said, I am saddended to hear of the loss of such a good and impacting person, but in keeping with his spiritual beliefs, must think that he is in a better place, and has earned his place there with every second he's spent here. My deepest condolences to you in this hard time.
