K. Elaine Foster K. Elaine Foster of San Rafael passed away peacefully in her sleep at her home on February 9, 2022, she was 91 years old. Elaine was the youngest of seven children who have all preceded her in death. She is survived by her three daughters Cecelia, Colleen and Diane; five grandchildren: Josh, Aaron, April, Chad, and Kelsey; and three great-grandchildren Jaxon, Andrew, and Tucker. Many will remember her as a face at Cake Art Supplies in San Rafael. She shared her passion for confections over many years, teaching cake decorating, gingerbread house making, and selling all the supplies needed. Elaine won many ribbons at the Marin County Fair recognizing her confections, sewing, and quilting skills. She enjoyed gardening, especially her orchids, begonias, and roses. There will be a Celebration of Life for immediate family at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to either St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or to Shriners Hospitals for Children in her name.
