Maggie Matthew Carreiro It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Maggie, or Matthew Carreiro, 29, on August 2, 2021. Maggie was born in Marin County on February 12, 1992 and raised in San Rafael, CA. She attended San Rafael City Schools and graduated from Tilden High School in Albany, CA. She continued her education at College of Marin. During Maggie's short life she left an impression on everyone she met and was a compassionate, loving person. Maggie was a trailblazer and chose a life path that was often difficult, and at times hard to understand. She will be greatly missed by her parents, Warren and Toni Carreiro; and brothers Justin (Shannon) and Bryan. Maggie also leaves behind a niece and nephew, many friends, acquaintances, and extended family members. Whether you knew her as Maggie or Matthew, family and friends are invited on November 5, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. to a gravesite memorial service at Mt. Tamalpais Cemetery, on 5th Avenue in San Rafael.
