Michael Kunen Obituary
Passed away peacefully Friday, April 16, 2004 in San Rafael. Age, 63 years. Adored father of Jessica Kunen of Novato. Dear son of the late Sidney and Frieda Kunen. Loving brother of Susan Mandelkorn and her husband Marc. Loving uncle of Scott and Todd Mandelkorn. Dear cousin of Mark, Daniela, Renee, Ali and Heather Kunen.
Mr. Kunen was a native of Brooklyn, New York and a 30 year resident of Marin County. He was a wholesale clothing manufacturer for 25 years before working as an executive in promotions and marketing. Mr. Kunen was a baseball fanatic and an avid fan of the Oakland A's and the old Brooklyn Dodgers. He also was a great lover of the arts. The most important thing to him was his daughter Jessica and he was an advocate and great supporter of her competitive gymnastics.
Friends are invited to attend Graveside Services Wednesday, April 21, 2004 at 12:30 PM at Santa Rosa Memorial Park, 1900 Franklin Avenue, Santa Rosa. The family prefers memorial contributions in his memory be made to the American Cancer Society, 400 N. McDowell Blvd., Petaluma. CA 94954. Funeral arrangements under the direction of ADOBE CREEK FUNERAL HOME, 331 Lakeville Street, Petaluma.
