Phyllis Ostrander Obituary

Phyllis M Ostrander Phyllis left us on September 11th, 2014 at the very young age of 94 still so full of life. She was a native of Seattle, however most of her youth was spent roller-skating the streets of San Francisco. She later moved to San Anselmo where she and her husband Milt (who died in 1980) raised their three children, Phil Ostrander, Sherri Adams and Rob Ostrander. Phyllis was a woman of great dignity and exceptional strength. Those who knew her, knew also of her heart and unparalleled spirit, as she endured great loss in her lifetime but she carried on with an incredible grace and wisdom. She is survived by her son Phil Ostrander (wife Tina) of Santa Rosa and her daughter Sherri Adams (husband Ted) of Petaluma. Her legacy also lives on in her grandchildren: Tim Ott, Anael Ott, Kara Key, Julie Parr and David Ott. There are also nine great grandchildren who were all blessed to know her. She was surrounded by a large loving family that she created and nurtured. A celebration of her exceptional life will be held October 5th, 2014, 1:00pm at the Deer Park Villa in Fairfax. All who knew her are welcome.

Shoko and I were surprised to find you've been gone six years, tomorrow. It's hard to believe you've been gone that long. We think about you all the time as we miss you, your laugh and wisdom.
