Ruth O. Hutchinson

Ruth O. Hutchinson Ruth Hutchinson of Novato, passed away peacefully at home in the company of family on December 12, 2005 at the age of 89, two months short of her 90th birthday. Beloved wife of the late Albert R. Hutchinson. Loving mother of Jan Hutchinson, John Hutchinson, Kate Hutchinson, Alice Gilmore, and the late Paul Hutchinson. Devoted grandmother of Ann-Marie I. Gilmore and Lonnie J. Gilmore. Dear mother-in-law of Mary Jane Hutchinson and Dan Gilmore and sister of John Hubbard and the late Mary Tappe. Ruth was a graduate of San Francisco State University and an educator for over 25 years in the Reed Union School District in Tiburon. She was a resident of Tiburon until 1990. She enjoyed her hobby as an oil and watercolor artist. Ruth was a member of the Indian Valley Artists Group of Marin. She loved traveling and visited many countries on five continents. Ruth was an avid baseball fan and a Giants' supporter. She will be deeply missed by her family and by her many friends. Friends and family are invited to a Funeral Service on Sunday, December 18, 2005 at 11:00 AM at PARENT-SORENSEN MORTUARY & CREMATORY, 850 Keokuk Street, Petaluma, CA. Viewing will begin at 9:00 AM on Sunday. Burial will be at Cypress Hill Memorial Park, Petaluma, CA. Donations in Ruth's name may be made to Hospice of Marin, 17 E.
