RUTH WHITE Obituary

Ruth Louise White Passed away suddenly Friday, January 29, 2010. Ruth was born in Rushville, Nebraska on August 3, 1923 to Milton and Laura Wyatt. On December 24, 1942 she married Charles Leslie White in San Francisco, where Charles was stationed in the Navy. They moved to Fairfax in 1958 when the house they built themselves was finished. Ruth is survived by her husband of 67 years, their daughters and sons-in-law, Louise Ellen and John Wilson,Leslie Ann and Robert Edgar, grandchildren David (Della Vincent) Kenney, Karen (David) Waddill, Carissa (William) Klemmer and Miranda Edgar. Blessed with great grandson Brandon Leslie Waddill and a great grandchild due to arrive in July. Also survived by her brother, Glen (Jeanne) Wyatt of Wyoming, sisters-in-law, Dixie (Raymond) Eaton and Dona Fleming of Nebraska. No services will be held at this time. A memorial will be held this summer, a time that Ruth immensely enjoyed while watching the veggie garden grow and the quail, deer and turkeys stroll by. Memorial contributions may be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children, 2425 Stockton Blvd, Sacramento, CA 95817.

Ruthie, how we will miss you.. Your and Charlie's sweet disposition and enduring friendship to Bobby and Bill up on your hill will be forever appreciated. God Bless you dear one. Charlie, my prayers are with you.

I lived next door to Ruth and Charlie for 8 years. Her warmth and sense of fun was evident. My condolences to her family, particularly Charlie.
