The world has lost a Friend and Protector of the innocent and the helpless, a strong, yet compassionate man. Cal was touched by people's situations and the plight of animals. There is no doubt he was a hero to many. The impact he made in the lives of countless people and animals cannot be measured; we only know they were better off because he lived. His influence is seen in the lives of his family and loved ones as he modeled love and kindness to them. He made a difference. He made a difference to us. We are honored to have had the gift of his friendship and his encouragement. A tree will be planted at Homeless to Home in a very special place and a ceremony scheduled to dedicate it, representing Cal's steadfast spirit of compassion. We pray comfort for his family and for Becky who said it well - there will never be another Cal Lamb. We are missing him with all of you.

Cal, I'm so glad I got to spend time with you in May, even though it was under very sad circumstances--the passing of my brother Chuckie. You were truly like an angel, helping him in any way you could, bringing him any kind of food you thought he would be able to keep down--pudding, baby food, creamsicles. You didn't give up. My niece and nephew and I could not have handled taking care of him without your love and support. But that's who you are, Cal. Your whole life was filled with taking care of and helping people out in their times of need. You were an angel on earth, and now you will be a Guardian Angel, out there in the universe. We'll feel your love and your spirit but we will always miss seeing your smile. Eternal love,

I will never forget his smile and giving heart. He was a true friend and I cherish all the times we had together. To the family of Cal Lamb. There is no way a couple paragraphs could do justice to Cal.He was a legend in Marion Ohio.At one time Dinos Bar and Drive Thru was the number 1 volume account in the 4 county area and that included every account that Delmar Distributing had to include close to 500 licensed establishments. He was also a friend in addition to a very valued account.I grew up knowing him and always had the utmost respect for him. When I was a salesrep for Budweiser I always visited him as often as I could as both a business account but more so as a friend. He will be sorely missed by friends and family. He had a huge heart for both people and animals.May he rest in peace.
