Carl Corwin Obituary
Marion - Carl B. "Red" Corwin, 92, of Marion and formerly of Delaware, passed away on Wednesday, December 23, 2020 in the Marion General Hospital.
He was born on April 17, 1928 in Delaware, son of the late Lewis B. and Buelah E. (Roach) Corwin. Carl grew up in Delaware and then moved to Ashley and in 1974, he along with his wife, Rosanna V. "Sally" (Hayes) Corwin, physically built the home where they lived for many years. Carl had worked at the Marion Power Shovel as a pipefitter for over 40 years. He was a member of the Westfield Community Church. He enjoyed woodworking and model railroading.
Carl is survived by his son, Joseph (Joyce) Corwin of Caledonia; daughters, Christina (Patrick) Bowman of Cuyahoga Falls, Linda Miller and Carol Corwin, both of Marion; nine grandchildren; numerous great and great great grandchildren; sister, Doris Whipple of Marengo; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents that have preceded him in death was his wife, Rosanna V. "Sally" (Hayes) Corwin in 2013; and three brothers, Ray Corwin, George Corwin and John Corwin.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, December 26, 2020 at the Ashley Cemetery, with the Rev. Dwight Cimino, Pastor of the Westfield Community Church, officiating.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Westfield Community Church.

To "Red's" Family:
Many years ago I lived out on St. Rt. 229 about one mile from Red. He was a good neighbor. I am sorry to hear of your loss. May God's love support you during this time.
