Danny Wren Obituary
MT. GILEAD: Danny A. Wren age 52 of Mt. Gilead, Ohio passed away Thursday, July 18, 2013 at his residence.
He was born November 10, 1960 in Bucyrus, Ohio to Andrew R. and Shirley M. (Batton) Wren.
Danny was a U.S. Marine Veteran serving from 1980-1984, was employed at Whirlpool Corp. for 12 years in the Powder Paint Department. In his free time he enjoyed playing frisbee, mowing lawns, was an avid bicyclist and loved his dogs. He attended Genesis Church in Marion, Ohio.
He is survived by his Mother, Shirley M. Huggins of Bucyrus, OH.; step son, Phillip Shepherd of Marion, Oh.; daughter, Brianna C. Wren of Cincinnati, OH.; son, Brody R. Wren of Marion, OH.; his companion, Patricia Townsend of Mt.Gilead, OH.; two grandchildren, Imani and Leiana Shepherd; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends in Bucyrus.
He was preceded in death by his father, Andrew Wren and his brother, Phillip Wren.
Funeral Services for Danny will be Tuesday, Juky 23, 2013 @ 1 PM at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home with Pastor Keith Irey officiating. Burial will take place at a later date. Visitation will be held Monday, July 22, 2013 from 5 - 8 PM at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home, 122 W. Columbia St. Marion, Ohio.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Vitas Hospice of the James Cancer Center.

Patty we are so sorry. Words cannot express how greatly Dan will be missed. We enjoyed our neighborly fence talks and Dan was already greatly missed in the neighborhood before hearing this. Please let us know if there is anything we can do.
