Esther Dutt Obituary
Cardington - Esther P. Dutt, age 95 of Cardington passed away Sunday, October 28, 2018 at home surrounded by loved ones. She was born on April 13, 1923 to the late James and Alma (Campbell) Long.
Esther was a 1942 graduate of Cardington Lincoln High School. She worked for many years at North Electric in Galion. Esther was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church where she contributed in the Lord's Stitchers. Additionally, Esther was a member of the Pythian Sisters and the American Legion Post 97 Ladies Auxiliary. Esther and her husband also participated in the Senior Olympics.
On June 16, 1944, Esther married Robert J. Dutt in Bowling Green, KY.; Robert preceded Esther in death along with her bother, Harold Long.
Esther is survived by five children; Karen Stone of Mansfield, James (Carol) Dutt of Indianapolis, IN., Robert Dutt Jr. of Cardington, Byron (Chris) Dutt of Mount Gilead, and Barry (Heidi) Dutt of Cardington; 3 grandchildren Erika, Heidi and Allee, 3 step grandchildren, Jeremy, Valerie and Johnathan; 4 great-grandchildren, Vincent, William, Jessie and Alena; and many nieces and nephews.
Friends may call Thursday November 1, 2018 from 5-8PM; at Gompf Funeral Home in Cardington. The funeral service will be held Friday, November 2, 2018, 10:30 Am at St. Paul Lutheran Church; 336 W Main St, Cardington, OH 43315 with Pastor Steve Dennis officiating. Following the service burial will take place at Glendale Cemetery.

Dear Karen, Jim, Bob, Byron, and Barry. I was so sorry to hear of your Mother's passing. I was fortunate enough to have seen her this past spring, at church, and was able to speak with her for a few minutes. She was such a sweet person and I know you will miss her greatly.
