Flora Curren Obituary
MARION: Flora A. "Dolly" Curren, age 77, of Marion passed away on Saturday, November 12, 2011, at 7:30 a.m. in the Kobacher House, Columbus.
She was born in Columbus, Ohio on March 12, 1934 to the late Wallie and Mary (McFarlin) Curren. Flora attended the Richland Road Church of Christ. She has spent most of her life as a Marion resident moving here from Columbus.
Surviving are two sisters, Evelyn Willis of Marion and Dorothy (Byrl) Shoemaker of Columbus, Oh.; two nieces, Judy (Bob) Hinkle of Worthington, Oh. and Carole (Rollin) Shaffer of Columbus, Oh.; four nephews, Don (Joyce) Morris of Marion, Gary (Donna) Shoemaker of Columbus, Oh., Craig (Diane) Willis of Marion, and Tim Willis of Columbus, Oh.; great nieces and nephews including Debbie (Steve) Swartz of Marion; a great great niece and nephew, Katie and Steven Swartz; along with close friends, Theresa (Chris) Brown and their children, Christopher, Joey, and Jennifer. Flora was preceded in death by a sister, Emma Morris.
Friends may call at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home today, November 14, 2011, from 4-8 p.m. The funeral service will be Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home with burial to follow in the Marion Cemetery. Officiating will be Russell Howard.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Kobacher House in Columbus, Ohio.

I so enjoyed all our talks at the Curren family reunions. I loved your happy smile, and your wonderful stories. So happy I got to know you better through the reunions. I will miss you there each year.
