Flora Runyon Obituary
She was born in Marion on October 19, 1960 to Elwood and Betty (Jones) Stone. Her father preceded her in death and her mother survives in Marion. Flora attended the White Oaks Road Freewill Baptist Church and was employed with the Marion City Schools until becoming disabled.
The lifelong Marion resident is survived by a son, Charles Runyon of Marion; a daughter, Sarah Runyon of Marion; a sister, Theresa Luikart of Marion; a half brother, Jimmy Stone; two half sisters, Becky Williams & Brenda Stout both of Marion; and a grandchild, Riley Runyon.
A half sister preceded her in death, Diana Rudd.
A celebration of her life will be held in the Boyd-Born Funeral Home on Saturday, August 28, 2010, at 2:00 p.m. Rev. Dan Dixon officiating. Burial will be at a later date and no calling hours will be observed.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to the family c/o the funeral home.
