Kathleen Denslow Obituary

LILBURN, GA: Kathleen Kelly Denslow, of Lilburn, GA, died Thursday, May 20, 2010 at Embracing Hospice in Snellville, GA, surrounded by family.
She was born May 14, 1938 in Marion to the late Judge and Mrs. Robert Kelly. Kathleen was married to Everett Cornelius until his death in 1969. In 1984 she married Philip Denslow who survives.
She is also survived by daughter and son-in-law, Michael and Laura Cornelius Kraft; and grandchildren, Kathleen and Matthew Kraft, of Snellville, GA.
Kathleen's 40-year association with Gordon Training International as an instructor trainer in communication skills for families and business took her to 14 countries. She also developed and taught courses for U.S. Armed Services families abroad.
A longtime resident of Leucadia, CA, Kathleen lived on the bluff overlooking the ocean where her ashes will be scattered.
She is also survived by brothers, Dr. David (Patricia) Kelly, Columbus, OH, and Kevin (Laurie) Kelly, Boulder Creek CA; and by sisters, Margaret (Thomas) Jester, Marion, Janet (Dan) Draper, Marion, and Ellen (Roy) Crayton, Killbuck, OH.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Southern Poverty Law Center, 400 Washington Ave., Montgomery AL 36104.
A memorial tribute to Kathleen will be held in Marion at a later date.
