Patsy Barry Obituary
MT. GILEAD: Patsy Ann Barry, age 71, of Mt. Gilead, died Tuesday afternoon at Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus.
She was born on May 15, 1940, in Marion to the late Harvey and Dorothy (Culp) Rice. Patsy graduated from Martel High School. On October 23, 1960, she married Richard S. Barry, and he preceded her in death.
Patsy was the greatest mom in the world, and is survived by three children, Dale (Calina) Barry of Mt. Gilead, David (Paula) Barry of Akron, and Phyllis (Mike) Morrison of Crestline; nine grandchildren; six great grandchildren; two brothers, William and Phillip; three sisters, Mary, Beverly and Karen; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by one grandchild.
Graveside services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Friday, July 22, 2011, in the Iberia Cemetery, with the Rev. Pat Fruth officiating, calling hours will not be observed. The Hughes-Allen Funeral Home is handling the arrangements. Expressions of sympathy may be sent to his family by logging onto www.hughesallen.com and opening her obituary.
