William Boblenz Obituary
Findlay - William "Bill" Boblenz, 90, of Findlay, Ohio passed away Friday, November 2, 2018.
Bill was born in Agosta, Ohio to the late Albert and Thelma (Wood) Boblenz. He married Judith Aukerman on April 26, 1975 in Findlay, Ohio and she survives. Also surviving are his children: Jennifer (Chris) Banks and Chad (Theresa) Boblenz both of Findlay, grandchildren: Gabriel, Lilian, Nathaniel, Mya, CJ, Faith and Oliva ; brothers: Jim (Rosemary) Boblenz and John (Carol) Boblenz both of Marion. He was preceded in death by his brothers: Jerry, Erle and Walter and sisters Violet, Mary and Jeanne.
Bill was a tool and die maker for Whirpool and also worked as a security guard for Marathon Airport. Bill proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War where he was part of the Battle of Okinawa. Bill was a collector and enjoyed fishing, wood working, watching old western movies, listening to old country music and wrestling with his son Chad.
Visitation for Bill will be on Tuesday, November 6, 2018 from 10 until the time of his funeral service at 11:00 AM in the HARTLEY-HANNEMAN FUNERAL HOME, 370 Park Dr S., McComb, Ohio 45858. Interment will follow in the McComb Union Cemetery where Military Honors will be rendered by the Hancock County Memorial Squad.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family c/o the funeral home.
