John Keefer Obituary

John Eugene Keefer was born May 12, 1977. He passed away on Jan. 24, 2022.

John Keefer was born May 12, 1977, in Austin, to Violet and Mike Keefer.

He is survived by his wife of 19 years, Gayleen Keefer; his daughter, Emma Keefer; his father, Mike Keefer; and his brothers, Bert Keefer, and Sean Aragon and his wife Jamie Aragon, as well as nephews, Bert Jr., Wesley and Michael Keefer.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Violet Keefer; and his sister-in-law, Priscilliana Noyola Keefer.

A devoted husband, John loved his wife and daughter more than life itself. He was a person of vision and a good noble heart; he always saw his future as bright and lengthy with many plans in the horizon.  He always wanted what was best for everyone around him. He was an entrepreneur dedicated and relentless with his work. He loved the outdoors and one of his greatest passions in life was traveling and experiencing new cities and their culture as well as their cuisine. He whole heartedly dreamt and looked forward to one day retiring and continue his travels around the world with his loving wife.

John Keefer lived a full life on his own terms, he was a loving husband and father, a loyal friend to a fault, he always wanted to help people and do the right thing. He will be greatly missed, but not forgotten.

A memorial service will be held for John at Grace Gardens Funeral Home in Waco on Wednesday, Feb. 2, 2022, at 4 p.m.
