Danny E. Cook

1953 - 2023

Danny E. Cook, 70, of Marshfield, MO, passed away on December 7,
2023. Danny was born on January 24, 1953, to Rellis Raymond Cook
and Vena Marie (Ivie) Cook in Springfield, MO. Danny was raised on a
farm located near Rader, MO where he continued to live most of his
adult life. In 1979, Danny accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior
and was baptized.  Danny was a member at Eureka Methodist Church,
Rader, Missouri.
Danny was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Vena
Marie Cook; infant brother; and brothers-in-law, Paul Boyce and
Robert Willis.
He is survived by his loving wife, Jana, of the home; son, Danny W.
Cook and wife, Lynnette, Fordland; daughter, LeAnn Essary and
significant other, Stephen Goings, Marshfield; two grandchildren,
Gracie and Gunner Essary; sister, Mary Ann Jensen (Jeff), brother,
Richard Cook (Leisa); brother-in-law, Wayne Boyce; four sisters-in-
law, Mary Willis Holden (Bob), Sue Wright (Lyle), Jane Bland
(Gaylen), and Sherri Boyce; as well as a host of nieces, nephews,
family, and friends.
Danny Cook was a hard-working man with integrity who created a
beautiful life for his family and loved them very much. He created so
many memories for family and friends and hosted a few unforgettable
hayrides over the years. The Cook family wants to thank everyone for
the love shown during this difficult time. 
Funeral services for Danny E. Cook were held 10:00 a.m., Tuesday,
December 12, 2023 at Day Funeral Home, Marshfield, Missouri.
Visitation was held Monday, December 11, 2023. In lieu of flowers,
memorial donations may be made to Missouri Fox Trotters Horse
Breed Association Youth Program.  Please make checks payable to
