Eddie Barbour Obituary
Eddie C. Barbour Jr., 82, of Stuart, passed away at his home on Sunday, February 13, 2022. He was born in on October 13, 1939, to the late Eddie C. Barbour Sr. and the late Mattie Hairston Barbour. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Edna Wimbush Barbour; two sisters, Lucy Via, Corene Street; and two brothers, Velton Barbour and Colonel Hayes Barbour.
He is survived by his children, Edna Laverne, Tyrone Barbour, and Sonya Hairston; five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, one great great-grandchild; sister, Iowa Barbour Joyce, and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The family will receive friends Friday, February 18, 2022, from 12:30 until 1 p.m. in the Bassett Funeral Service chapel where the funeral will follow at 1 p.m. Burial will follow in the Iron Belt Christian Church Cemetery.
Due to the governor's requirements for COVID 19, a face covering is recommended and social distancing should be observed when visiting the funeral home.

Eddie was a good man and a great neighbor. He was always friendly and just a delight to talk too. He will be missed a lot. God has another angel to watch over all of us. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Barbour Family.
