Andrew J. Bulecza, Jr. (Andy), 83, peacefully passed away on November 12, 2025, at his home in Wildwood, Florida with his family by his side. He was born in Holyoke, Massachusetts, son of the late Andrew Bulecza, Sr. and Helen J. (Swiderski) Bulecza. Andy grew up in Chicopee, Massachusetts where he attended local schools and lived his life until retirement. He was devoted to his parents and his family and worked very hard to make sure everyone in his life was well taken care of. Known for his sharp mind and strong work ethic, Andy had a unique gift for solving problems whether they were complex challenges at work or the everyday puzzles of life.
He approached everything with creativity and calm determination and inspired others to do the same. These skills led Andy to a very successful career as a well-respected manager in the manufacturing industry of coated film and paper. He worked for Tecnifax/Xidex in Holyoke, Massachusetts and Sunnyvale, California and was recruited to work for James River Graphics/Rexam Graphics where he was instrumental in streamlining many departments of the business as well as building and managing converting facilities in South Hadley, Massachusetts and Runcorn, England.
Although Andy worked extremely hard, he did find time to pursue many other interests. He enjoyed family vacations, working on cars, hunting, fishing, boating, motorcycling, snowmobiling, playing billiards and golfing. Andy retired at the age of 54 and eventually moved to his favorite place in the world, Continental Country Club in Wildwood, Florida where he lived for 28 years playing golf, making friends and enjoying the resort-type lifestyle.
Andy is survived by his two daughters, Marianne Bulecza Metzner (Joe) of Daytona Beach, FL, Christine Bulecza McDougle (Wes) of Spring City, TN and his son, Andrew Bulecza III (Kelly) of Lincolnton, NC, his brother and sister-in-law, John and Kathy Bulecza and his endlessly devoted and committed companion Barbara. Andy also leaves his 15 grandchildren who loved their Grandpa: Jason (Jen), Joshua (Amanda), Jeremy, Stephanie, James, Joseph, Felicia, Nikole, Jonathon and the late Tiffany Houle; Kimberly (Adam) Anderson, Ricky (Brittney) Ayers, Brian Ayers(Robin); Andrew (Jen) Bulecza IV and Stephanie (Daniel) Shively. He also leaves 16 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandson, many nieces, nephews and friends.
Andy was very content with the life he lived, and he will be loved and missed by everyone who knew him. A private service for family and friends will be held at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted to Baldwin Brothers Funeral and Cremation Society, Wildwood, FL. In Andy's memory, donations may be made to one's favorite charity.
