Denise A. Margoles

Denise A. Margoles 1958 - 2023 Hampden Denise A. Margoles, sadly passed away on Wednesday, January 11, 2023 in Mercy Medical Center, surrounded by her caring family. Born in Holyoke, she was the daughter of the late Loretta (Langevin) and Roger Chouinard. She was a graduate of Chicopee Comp High School and then graduated from cosmetology school and became a hairdresser. She worked with her husband, David Margoles, in later years. Denise was a loyal person. She found peace in gardening and taking care of her pool. She also enjoyed shopping, cooking, swimming at the YWCA in Wilbraham, and riding her bike. She loved her family, and her grandchildren always put a smile on her face. She is survived by her husband of 35 years, David Margoles; her sons, Christopher Chagnon and Alfred Chagnon II and his wife Brittany, both of Chicopee; her sister-in-law Rachel Margoles Bonavita of Springfield; ten grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. As per the family's request, services for Denise will be held privately and are entrusted to Forastiere Smith Funeral & Cremation. Donations may be made in Denise's memory to Sister Caritas Cancer Center at Mercy Medical Center, 271 Carew St, Springfield MA 01104.
