Leonard R. Denette, 84, of Wilbraham, passed away on Sunday, November 21, 2021. Leonard was born in Springfield on October 28, 1937, the son of the late Leonard and Alma Denette. He was a graduate of Chicopee High School. He worked for Milton Bradley and retired from Hasbro after 38 years of service. Leonard enjoyed the outdoors especially playing golf, softball and loved to bowl but most of all he treasured time spent with his family. He is survived by his wife Carolyn (Thompson) Denette of Wilbraham, two children Cynthia Jerry and her husband Mark of Agawam, Leonard Denette and his wife Barbara of Springfield and four grandchildren Holly, Jason, Leonard and Damian and two great-grandchildren Chelsea and Jacoby. In addition to his parents he was also predeceased by a sister Shirley Cairns. Family and friends will gather and remember Leonard on Friday, December 3, 2021 from 11-12noon at the Byron Keenan Funeral Home and Cremation Tribute Center, 1858 Allen Street, Springfield, MA, 01118.
