Mary T. Case, 84, passed away peacefully September 19, 2021. Born September 30, 1936 in Onset, MA, she was the daughter to the late Charles and Catherine (Kane) Duggan. She was employed for several years as a telephone operator and was a communicant of Holy Cross Church in Springfield. Mary’s greatest joy in life was spending time with her family which included taking camping trips to Cape Cod, spending time at the beach and swimming. She also loved to cook, providing countless delicious meals for her family and friends. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Robert D. Case; and sister Helen Robbins. Mary is survived by her daughters Elizabeth M. Case and Laurie A. Fabbri and her husband, William; grandsons Cameron and Alexander; and numerous nieces, nephews, other loving relatives and friends. A funeral service for Mary will be held at 12:30PM on Monday, September 27, 2021 at Forastiere Smith Funeral Home, 220 N. Main St., East Longmeadow, MA with burial following in the Massachusetts Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery, Agawam. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Mary’s name to Hospice of the Fisher House, 1165 N. Pleasant St., Amherst, MA 01002. For online condolences please visit www.forastiere.com.
