I will miss you Monkey. I will no longer be able to surprise you with a visit and watch you smile. I will however, always remember that you always cared. Your funny ways, hard to follow, but always understood. Your special and will always be in my heart. Until we meet again, may you rest in peace! My condolences to the Fossa family.

Bill "Monk" Fossa was a sensitive soul who ignored popular tastes and current trends, choosing to walk his own path. Though he was always kind, he did not suffer fools. He had a generous spirit that radiated most when he drove his school bus.
I miss you, Monk, and with your passing there is less shimmer in the world.

Bill "Monk" Fossa was a one-of-a-kind human being. He was a sensitive soul who ignored popular tastes and current trends, choosing to walk his own path. With the eye of an artist, the heart of a poet, the perceptions of a philosopher, and the delivery of a comedian, he held a fascinating, and at times controversial, view of the world. Though he was always kind, he did not suffer fools. He had a generous spirit that radiated most when he drove his school bus. The wonderful stories he told about his kids, which such appreciation, warmth and humor, were an indication that he found a profession that made him very happy.
Monk was definitely different, and I valued his uniqueness. He was a significant person in my life. I am forever grateful for all the music, photography, movies, and writings he turned me on to. He contributed many things that made my life a more colorful place to inhabit.
I miss you, Monk, and with your passing there is less shimmer in the world.
