Danny Lee Sanderson, 76, of Mayfield died Saturday, Dec. 16, 2023 in Mayfield.
He was of the Baptist faith, a retired employee of Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company and a U.S. Army veteran having served during the Vietnam War.
He is survived by his wife of 17 years, Sarah Ferguson Sanderson; one son, Scott James of Ocala, Florida; three daughters, Dawn Spurling of Lawndale, North Carolina, Danni Michelle Taber of Mayfield, and Lori Sanderson of Fancy Farm; one step-son, Roy Calhoun of Murray; one step-daughter, Johnna Johnson of Trenton, Tennessee; 18 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by one daughter, Brandi Gibson; three brothers; his father, Wilburn Sanderson; and mother, Alene Felts.
Friends may call 4-7 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 20, 2023, at Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield.
