DarryE J. Jackson, 79, of Mayfield, passed away on Thursday, Jan. 8, 2026, at her home.
She was a member of Christian Fellowship Church in Benton, and a former member of Mount Olive Methodist Church. She worked as an RN at Western Baptist Hospital, as an RN instructor at Murray State University, and as a family nurse practitioner at Kentucky Cares and Parkway Regional Hospital.
Mrs. Jackson is survived by two sisters, Kathy Lee and Brenda Willett both of Mayfield; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Willard J. Petway; and one sister. Her parents were Darrel and Ruth Pearce Jackson.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 15, 2026, at Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield. The Rev. Richie Clendenen will officiate. Interment will follow at Mount Olive Cemetery in Pryorsburg.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 14, 2026, at the funeral home.
