Gerald Roland Easley, 86, of Mayfield, passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 4, 2026, at Skyline Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee.
He was a member of First United Methodist Church, a lifelong horse and dog trainer, and owner of the trick horse "Hotshot." He was a retired employee of Ingersoll Rand, former owner of Easley Real Estate and Auction, and a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corp.
Mr. Easley is survived by his wife, Nanette Frazer Easley; one daughter, Laura Ann (Jeremy) Phillips of Mayfield; one son-in-law, Charles Jack Girard of Lexington; and six grandchildren, Ethan Gerald Girard, Laura Clare Girard, Kate Girard (Winston) Benge, Benjamin Scott Phillips, Grant Easley Phillips, and Isaac Andrew Phillips.
He was preceded in death by one daughter, Shannon Lynn Easley Girard; three brothers, Norris Easley, Terry Easley and Jack Easley; and his parents, Ercile and Castella Taylor Easley.
Funeral services for Mr. Gerald Roland Easley will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 7, 2026, at Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield. The Rev. Joe Hansen and Rev. Adam Rush will officiate. Interment will follow at Highland Park Cemetery.
Military graveside rites will be conducted by American Legion Post No. 26.
Pallbearers will be Jeremy Phillips, Benjamin Phillips, Grant Phillips, Isaac Phillips, Jackie Easley, and Colten Easley.
Visitation will be from 9-11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
