It is with deep sorrow our beloved Mrs. Stella Grey Newsome Drew, 94, of Mayfield, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, Dec. 10, 2025, in Sikeston, Missouri.
She was a retired final examiner with the Merit Clothing Company and Mary Nell Clothing Company in Mayfield. She was also a long-time member of New Liberty Baptist Church and a graduate of Brewers High School.
Mrs. Drew is survived by one daughter, Pamela (Mike) Kuppart of Sikeston, Missouri; one grandchild, Casey Drew (Kelly) Kuppart of Cape Girardeau, Missouri; one great-grandchild, Katelyn (Tyler) Lawrence of Talbott, Tennessee; and one great-great-grandchild, Autumn Lawrence of Talbott, Tennessee.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Auzy D. Drew; one brother, James C. Newsome; two sisters, Thelma Eckerdt and Virginia Prudo; and her parents, Boyce and Helen Orene Smith Newsome.
Graveside services for Mrs. Stella Grey Newsome Drew will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 13, 2025, at New Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery. The Rev. Duane Fields will officiate. Interment will follow.
There is no visitation scheduled. Friends are asked to meet at the cemetery.
