GEORGETOWN — Amy McEldowney, 67, of Georgetown, Ky., transitioned from her earthly home on Nov. 25, 2025, surrounded by her family. She was born on Jan. 23, 1958, in Vanceburg to the late Samuel and Eleanor Johnson.
She was a member of Grace Christian Church in Georgetown, Ky. and Highland Christian Church of Maysville.
She was loved and will be missed by her husband, Jeff McEldowney; daughters Leah (Anthony) Adams and Hannah (Dylan) Cornett; grandchildren Harper and Zoe Adams, brothers David (Debbie) Willis, Ben (Diane) Johnson, and Sam (Susie) Johnson all from Vanceburg. and so many family members and friends who will miss her. She was preceded in death by her parents Samuel and Eleanor Johnson and sister Meredith Willis.
A gathering will take place at Grace Christian Church, 1648 Lexington Road, Georgetown, KY 40324 on Dec. 6 beginning at 11 a.m.
