MAYSVILLE — Debra McRoberts Whiteman 60, passed away peacefully Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at the University of Cincinnati after an extended stay.
Raised in Fleming County Debra was born on June 30, 1965, and was a 1983 Graduate of Fleming County High School.
Debra was a homemaker, a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her family, taking trips, watching Hallmark movies, buying Christmas Ornaments, and supporting her daughters and granddaughter.
Debra is the true definition of a fighter; she has overcome many health obstacles with such grace. She was born with hip dysplasia which caused some mobility issues, she battled breast cancer starting in 2012, and metastatic breast cancer that traveled to her brain in 2014. After over 12 years of various treatments, she recently was recovering from pancreatitis that triggered multiple seizures and strokes. With her husband Ronnie by her side every step of the way.
Debra is survived by her husband Ronald Whiteman of Maysville, two daughters Britany (Kelly) Vice, Kdee Whiteman and one granddaughter Bria Vice all of Flemingsburg. Her father Jerry (Patrica) McRoberts of Flemingsburg, two brothers Larry (Lynn) McRoberts of Nicholasville, Greg McRoberts of Olive Hill, 2 sisters Amy Workman and Stacy (Shawn) Dawson both of Flemingsburg, and several Nieces, Nephews, Aunts, Uncles and cousins that she loved dearly.
She is preceded in death by her mother Norma (Humphries) McRoberts, one sister Tammy Doyle, her in-laws Arthur Whiteman Sr., Violet Whiteman, and one brother-in-law Arthur Whiteman Jr. and many other extended family members.
Pallbearers, Ronald Whiteman, Kelly Vice, Larry McRoberts, Greg McRoberts, Amy Workman, Stacy Dawson, Beth Purcell, Tommy Pigmon. Honorary Pallbearers, Jerry McRoberts, T.J. Doyle, Ashton Workman, Tyler McRoberts and Clell Vice.
Services for Debra Whiteman will be held at Brell and Son Funeral Home, Monday Oct. 27, 2025, at 11 a.m. with Pastor Dustin Hamilton, officiating. Burial will follow in Maysville Mason County Cemetery.
Visitation services will be Sunday, Oct. 28, 2025, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
