Jackie Doyle Obituary

MAY'S LICK — Jackie Doyle, Jr., 93, passed away Monday, Aug. 25, 2025.

He was born on May 12, 1932, to the late Jack and Sara Hazel (Adamson) Doyle.

He was a member of Formans Chapel United Methodist Church. Jackie was a United States Air Force veteran. He retired after 21 years of service as a Master Sergeant. He served in the Korean Conflict and Vietnam War.

He is survived by his wife Tilda (Dillon) Rogers Doyle. He is also survived by his son, Stacey (Mary Jane) Doyle; two grandchildren, Claire (Patrick) Davidson and Patrick Doyle; four great-grandchildren, Lilyanna, Olivia, Arlo, and Sylvia Davidson; two brothers, Otis Dayton Doyle and Donald Doyle; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Stella (Cole) Doyle, his son, Scott Doyle; and four brothers, Wick Doyle, Herbert Doyle, Millard E. Doyle, and Jerry Doyle.

Funeral will be 1 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 30, at Shannon Methodist Church. Burial will be at Shannon Cemetery. Visitation will be 11-1 p.m. on Saturday at the church.

Memorials may be sent to Shannon Cemetery, MaysLick Christian Church, or charity of choice.

Moore and Parker Funeral Home will be serving the family.
