CINCINNATI — Mona Madelyn Cogswell Lowe King, 98, formerly of the Lewisburg community in Mason County, passed at noon on Saturday, Nov. 1, 2025, at the Anderson Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Cincinnati.
Mrs. King was a long-time resident of the Lewisburg community and lived on a farm on Owens Pike with her husband, Forrest Lowe, for 47 years until he passed in 1994. In 1995, she married Albert King, Jr., and they resided in the May's Lick community, where they raised miniature horses until he passed in 2010. She then moved to Cincinnati to be near her daughters until she passed.
Born in Harvey, IL, on March 12, 1927, to Hobart and Della Mae Padgett Cogswell.
She is survived by her two daughters, Mrs. Stephen (Jane) Lloyd of Florida and Mrs. Daniel (Kathy) Fisher of Cincinnati, four grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren. She is survived by one sister, Claire Zapchenk, of Bridgman, Mich., and was preceded in death by Lloyd Cogswell, Richard Cogswell, Geraldine Estes, and one grandson, Brian Scott Million.
A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
