The sympathy of the Emma and Richard Trach family goes to you, Barney's family. Stanley Hahn called to tell us of Barney's passing. What great old memories his call brought up. Susan and Jackie, I was always so glad when your visit to Olive coincided with my visit to Emma. We both had someone to play with while the adults visited. My Mom had other memories - that Barney and Virgie rented a house from Emma in Kresgeville, and Barney put in indoor plumbing for the bathroom and kitchen. I can hardly believe that someone in the early 50s didn't have indoor plumbing! and that Barney had a diner in York County before Emmaus, I guess. Stanley keeps in touch once a year - which is great for Mom and I. My Dad passed away in 2000 - at age 79. This seems so young now that I am 62. I would love to hear from you [email protected]
Please accept our sincere sympathies. Anne (Cony) and Marcia Trach

LaMae, Susie,and Archie,
I am so sorry to hear of Barney's passing. I have so many wonderful memories of him from when I was a child. From the diner to riding the lawn mower to mow the lawn for Susie, and of course the Model T cars. What a great man! You are all in my thoughts and prayers.
