So sorry for your loss. I have many fond memories buying lots of candy at Al's store and playing with Pat when we were little. May God comfort you at this most difficult time and please know many prayers are with you.

Mrs. Stoisits, John, Jane and Pat:
Our sincere condolences and love are sent upon the passing of your husband and Dad. I remember Al's Market in Stiles as well as the fun times at the New Year's Day parties at Jane's home. He always had a smile on his face.
And how he loved the strawberries we delivered last summer!
Wishing you God's blessing as you say good-bye.
Love,
Nancy and Donald Scatton

Aunt Margaret, John, Jane & Patty,
Sorry to hear of the passing of Uncle Al, my thoughts and prayers are with you and all your families. Great memories of a simpler time - holiday picnics and of course shopping at the “market”. Uncle Al was a special person with a big heart, he will surely be missed but never forgotten.

I was so sorry to hear of Al's passing away. I always enjoyed going to the store and seeing his smiling face. I used to go there several times a week with Walter Kratzer, he and Al were such good friends. I remember how they used to talk about anything and everything. Walter passed away 26 years ago and I am sure they are having a reunion right now talking about old times. I remember when Patty was little and used to do pretend shopping in the store. She had her little shopping list and her doll in the cart and would shop so carefully :) I thought it was so cool the way she seemed to be having so much fun. Al will certainly be missed by many and my deepest condolences go out to his family.

Peggy, Jane, John and Pat, We are so saddened to learn of Al's death. Al was such a delightful gentle man in so many ways! I'll always remember "shopping" at your family's store, Jane, when we visited from college. We never had to pay!! It was every child's dream! I also remember the wonderful tasting meats that your Dad so skillfully selected! It was a special treat for my family when I would bring the meat home to Scranton! I cannot picture a time when I was with your Dad that he was not smiling!! Jane, your Mom and Dad were always so kind to me. I always felt like part of the family. My children, also, have greatly benefitted from the many kindnesses shown by your Dad and Mom. There will not be a Christmas or New Year that will pass without prayers of thanksgiving for the blessing of having had our lives touch his. You are all being lifted up with all the spiritual strength that love affords. With love, gratitude and sympathy, Joy, Bill, Jonathan, David, Shelby, Scott and Kristy
