Anna Hewko, 91, of Northampton, died Wednesday, September 7, 2011, at the Lutheran Home, Topton, PA. Born August 18, 1920 in Northampton, she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Helen (Kostyk) Krayosky and wife of the late Stephen Hewko. She was a sewing machine operator for the former D & D Shirt Company, Northampton, until she retired in 1982 and was a member of Assumption of Virgin Mary Ukrainian Orthodox Church, Northampton. At the church she was a member of the choir, Sisterhood of Faith, Hope and Love and helped to make pierogies. She also was a member of the Young at Heart and Senior Ladies, Northampton. Survivors: She is survived by daughters Rosanne, wife of Robin Buss of Bath, and Marcia A., wife of Joel M. Freed of Emmaus; granddaughter, Stacy, wife of Christian Answini, grandson, Stephen and wife Jackie Buss; great-grandchildren, Grayson and Fiona Answini. She was predeceased by sisters, Mary Miga and Cathryn Fedorishen, and brothers, John Crayosky and Michael Crayosky. Services: Arrangements are being handled by Schisler Funeral Home, Inc., 2119 Washington Avenue, Northampton, PA, where the family will receive friends from 8:30-9:30 A.M. Saturday, September 10, 2011. Funeral service will be at the church at 10 A.M. Saturday, September 10, 2011. Interment will be at Assumption Of Virgin Mary Ukrainian Orthodox Cemetery, Northampton, PA.
